Ways to Help

The Need

Sow Much Good is 100 percent volunteer driven from our growing sites and farm stands to our operations and administrative support! Volunteer! Donate! Sponsor! To provide produce at a low-cost to the 73,000 people living in Mecklenburg County food deserts, Sow Much Good needs man power, in-kind donations and corporate support.

Volunteer!

Sow Much Good has three micro farms producing over 8 tons of food per year. These sites have an unending list of tasks. Because the organization is entirely 100% volunteer driven, SMG is always looking for people to lend a hand (green thumb or not) to the cause. Please sign-up here.

Donate!

Sow Much Good relies on the generosity of individuals like you who supports our mission to develop healthy food, healthy people and healthy communities. Through your tax-deductible* gift, YOU underwrite our agricultural, educational and outreach initiatives.

The nonprofit is also in need of a range of items from trucks to tools to computers. If you or your organization produces these items or can obtain them at a low cost, please consider making an in-kind donation to SMG.

Sponsor!

Sow Much Good hosts a range of programs and events that educate people about the importance of nutritionally dense foods or raise money for farming activities, and the operation of local farm stands.

SMG needs corporate sponsors to help reach the 73,000 individuals living in food deserts, cover event and speaker costs and raise the capital necessary to sustain a non-profit organization.

Companies that elect to become involved with initiatives will receive customized branding opportunities that showcase their products and services to potential customers.
